TTC Canada have been in the pulp and paper industry since its inception, as supplier of quality and process control systems with a philosophy that empowers pulp and paper mills to operate and maintain their installations. Our objective has always been to lower the total cost of ownership for our clients. To this end, we introduced the system integration approach to the traditional quality control system black-box market. First by using generic programmable logic controllers and smart sensors in the nineties and introducing wireless communication technologies and remote support early in this century. Now, we work with equipment manufacturers and mill operators to bring digital solutions to upgrade their measurement and control equipment and join in the transition to the IIOT and Industry 4.0.

We continue to support existing installations and assist peer companies to market their products and services in certain territories. In this capacity we are working with OpTest Equipment Inc. (www.optest.com) to advance their market program for the On-machine Dirt In-speck-tor (ODI), the only Tappi and ISO compliant online visible dirt analyzer in the industry.
